Deputy Chief Vincent Dunn (Retired FDNY) is a 42 year veteran of the FDNY. He is a recognized authority on fire fighting and the recipient of many awards acknowledging his achievements - Man of the Year (1990) by the Society of Fire Protection Engineers; the Edward W. Whalen Award (1995) by the New York City Fire Safety Directors Association; a Lifetime Achievement Award (1999) by Fire Engineering Magazine; and the Lifetime Achievement Award (2000) by the Fire Department of New York.
